6th Annual Marilou Ray Scholarship Award

In November 2018, Legis will again be proud to award this scholarship in the name of Marilou Ray, a founder and driving force in the continued success of Legis Consultancy.  This award recognizes academic excellence and the pursuit of engineering and serves to both pay tribute to our past and encourage the engineers of the future.

Veterans Day 2018

Today we recognize the men, women, and families who have served our country selflessly and honorably. To all the retired and active duty veterans, and those who have given their lives defending our freedom: thank you endlessly for your service and sacrifice.

As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, we look forward to continuing our work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and serving our community through various federal agencies.

Certified Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business

Legis Consultancy, Inc., of Atlanta, GA is proud to announce its designation as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business by the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) office within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.  Legis has been providing engineering and construction cost engineering and claims services to local, national, and international private and public clients for over 20 years; our extensive professional relationships, along with the SDVOSB certification, positions Legis as a premier partner for government contracts.

There are less than 6,000 verified SDVOSB firms in the Unites States.  Legis’ acceptance into the “Veterans First Contracting Program” is critical. The purpose is to ensure legitimately owned and controlled VOSBs and SDVOSBs are able to compete for VA VOSB and SDVOSB set-aside contracts and are credited by VA’s large prime contractors for subcontract plan achievements.

“I have always been proud of my military service,” says Michael C. Ray, Founder and CEO of Legis.  “It was my honor to serve our country; now as a veteran, achieving the SDVOSB certification means that Legis can continue to serve active and retired military men and women through our work with the VA, DoD, GSA, and many other federal agencies.”

USACE New Orleans District 2018 Small Business Industry Day

On August 7th, Patrick Ray will be attending the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District Small Business Industry Day.

Throughout the day he will be participating in briefings from Small Business advocates and discussing future procurement opportunities. The event will also include a networking session with significant attendees representing the District and Small Business Community.

“This event is an opportunity to provide outreach to our local industry partners to enhance competition, build relationships and facilitate a better understanding of our agency’s mission requirements and contractor capabilities.” – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District
