Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay Coastal Storm Risk Management Program
Orange County Program, TX
Legis Consultancy was engaged to provide Cost Estimating, Scheduling, Constructability Analysis, and Economic Risk Services for the multi-billion-dollar U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) program. The Orange County Project is currently in the Pre-construction Engineering and Design (PED) phase and includes: 20 miles of new earthen levees, 3 miles of new concrete floodwalls, over 100 gravity drainage structures, 14-16 new pump stations, 40 closure structures located at road and railroad crossings, 2 navigable sector gates with adjacent vertical lift gates, and restoration of coastal marsh and preservation of wetlands.

As a member of the design team, Legis was engaged by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Galveston District to provide Estimating, Scheduling, Value Engineering, and Constructability services for a large $1.5+ billion risk reduction project. This mega civil works project includes sector gates, lift gates, levees, flood walls, pump station, and associated structures.

Bureau Engraving and Printing, New Currency Production Facility East
Beltsville, MD
Legis Consultancy was engaged to provide independent Quality Management Services for the Architect/Engineer new construction MCACES MII Estimate and Primavera P6 Schedule, valued at over $1 billion. This new facility located on 100+ acres will consist of a production facility, parking and several security buildings for employees, visitors, and truck screening. Backcheck lists were prepared by Legis Consultancy for review by the A/E firm prior to submittal.

Vandenberg Space Force Base, New Flightline Security Fence
Santa Barbara, CA
Legis Consultancy was engaged under a contract with the Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) to provide Estimating and Scheduling services for a new-construction flightline security project located at Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County, California. The project includes 9 miles of security fence around runways, buildings (tie-ins required), and roads, pedestrian and vehicle gates (cantilever and swing type), wildlife and habitat environmental concerns, wildlife ramps, and unexploded ordinance concerns.

Georgia Department of Transportation, Major Mobility Investment Program
Atlanta, GA
Legis provided estimating, scheduling, and integrated cost and schedule risk analysis services for the Georgia Department of Transportation Major Mobility Investment Program (MMIP). The MMIP’s 11 major projects will add 75 miles of general-purpose lanes, 163 miles of express lanes, and 77 miles of commercial vehicle lanes. The program will ease traffic congestion and is valued at approximately $11 billion.

U. S. Navy. Camp Lemonnier Forward Operating Site
Djibouti City, Djibouti
Legis Consultancy delivered Cost Estimates for a two-story command center building and a three-story dormitory building for U.S. Navy Command Facilities located at Camp Lemonnier. The project was part of a larger effort to convert the Lemonier from an “expeditionary” base to a more permanent long-term facility with more durable berthing facilities. The over 500-acre site currently hosts personnel assigned to the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa.

U.S. Air Force, Columbus Air Force Base, Pilot Dorm
Columbus, MS
Legis Consultancy was engaged under a contract with the Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) to provide Estimating and Scheduling services for the renovation of a 23,279 GSF dormitory with 59 dormitory rooms. Project includes full interior demolition and replacement, new secondary electrical service, structural repairs, installation of new insulation, and full replacement of interior finishes. The project is valued at approximately $17 million and is expected to take 18 months to complete.

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Dorm Upgrade Projects
Trenton, NJ
Legis Consultancy was engaged to provide Estimates and Schedules on separate projects for upgrading dormitories of B2619/B2621 and B2424 buildings. Estimates/ Schedules prepared at Conceptual, Intermediate, Final, and Corrected Final/Ready to Advertise Design phases. Facilities are appr. 25,000 sq. ft. each with 65 bedrooms; all stories are above grade. Project includes sitework (pedestrian plazas, gas/ electric utility work, landscaping), facility improvements (demolition, doors and grilles, interior partitions, ceilings, finishes, signage, MEP, life safety, security, HTRW remediation), and encompasses Furniture, Fixture, and Equipment replacement. Legis prepared all quantity take-offs in Bluebeam and provided full documentation in both Opinion of Probable Construction Cost/ Construction Schedule documents.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Michoud Rocket Assembly Facility Roof Replacement
New Orleans, LA
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers engaged Legis to provide estimating services for the Operations and Maintenance program for the HSDRRS program in New Orleans, LA. The 50-year estimate, valued at over $2.5 billion, included all maintenance tasks for surge barriers, levees, flood walls, pumping stations, canals, gated outlets, bridges, and appurtenant structures.
